Originally from Cornwall, I graduated from Cardiff University in 2006 with a degree in dentistry. After qualifying, I spent a year working in the Welsh Valleys, gaining valuable experience in general practice before returning to Cornwall to continue my career closer to home. In 2011, I took a year out to travel and volunteer at St Francis Hospital in Zambia, Africa—an experience that had been a long-standing ambition of mine and one that deeply enriched both my personal and professional life.
For the past 3 years I have had the privilege of being a clinical supervisor, helping to teach International dental students here in Cornwall.
I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, but I’m particularly passionate about helping anxious patients of all ages feel comfortable and confident during their visits. Creating a calm and supportive environment is central to my approach.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. We love exploring Cornwall’s cycle paths and getting out on the water whenever we can.

In Harriet’s own words she has enjoyed working in Welshpool for 2 years since graduating from Newcastle Dental School in 2017. Harriet spent her secondary education at Altrincham Girls Grammar School where she spent a lot of time in mid-wales, as her family moved to Llandrinio when she was growing up.Harriet thoroughly enjoys her work, striving to provide the best quality treatment with the brilliant team at Welshpool. This incredible dentist finds it is very rewarding seeing transformations in her patient’s oral health throughout their treatment. Harriet particularly enjoys periodontology and working with nervous patients helping people to find their confidence again.In Harriet’s spare time enjoys walking, horse riding, and squash. Some exciting news for this dentist as she has recently bought her own house in Shrewsbury and hopes to continue providing excellent care for her patients.
