He joined the armed forces (Navy) and undertook a Masters in Dental Surgery (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery), he received a MFDS RCS (Eng) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2020, and recent studies awarded him a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (International) from University of Central Lancashire in Preston in 2024.He is committed to providing high-quality affordable private dental care, focusing on preventive treatments, patient education, and restorative procedures. His approach to dentistry is patient-centered, ensuring that each individual receives personalized and compassionate care.Outside of his professional life, Ashish enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.

Oliver graduated from Newcastle University Dental School in 2017. He passed with a merit in Academic Dentistry. He is originally from Northern Ireland but continued living in Newcastle to provide both NHS and private dentistry, which he loves. When it comes to treating patients, Oliver is an attentive listener and recognises that each patient is unique and builds individual treatment plans to suit their needs. Oliver provides teeth starightening options such as ClearCorrect to his patients along with composite bonding. In his spare time, Oliver loves playing guitar in his home-made recording studio and going to the gym regularly.

Dr Matthew Gribbon GDP

"Matt qualified with his BDS from the University of Manchester in 2019. He then completed foundation training in North Wales before working as a general practitioner for mydentist in Abergele.
Following this, Matt undertook core training jobs within Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department at both the Royal Lancaster Infirmary and the Cumberland Infirmary.
Matt returned to working with mydentist in 2022 on a part time basis at the Victoria Place practice in Carlisle. He continues to work on a locum basis in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery when able.
He is currently working towards his masters degree in dental implantology at the Implant Centre of Excellence in Manchester's Salford Quays. Matt has recently been accepted onto the masters degree programme in clinical periodontology at the University of Central Lancashire and will begin this in September 2025.
His patients feel safe and secure with him, and he delivers the best for his patients. "

Dr Shaun Pitt GDP

Shaun is a kind and caring dentist who works four days a week in practice as a private clinician. He qualified in 2014 in Liverpool (BDS Liverpool 2014) and joined the mydentist family in Carlisle in 2017. Shaun is originally form the local area in Cumbria and was keen to start his career in this area. He has an interest in restorative & aesthetic dentistry. Shaun always gives our patients the best possible care and has strives to make his patients feel at ease every time time they are in surgery. He offers a dental plan within the practice which allows patients to spread the cost of examinations and hygienist appointments. He works closely alongside the rest of the clinical team within the practice including, Arsha the Therapist in practice, and Ruth the Hygienist in our sister practice to provide the hygiene appointments to his patients. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and his dog.

Theo joined mydentist in 2024 after graduating from the University of Plymouth, where he was awarded, the prestigious Charles Spence Bate Professionalism Prize. He has since been published in one of the UK’s leading dental journals, offering national guidance to fellow practitioners. Theo is passionate about improving access to NHS dental care, he has an interest in treating children, patients with dental anxiety, and those with complex medical conditions. His calm, empathetic approach makes him a reassuring presence for even the most nervous patients. Since joining our practice many of his patients have contacted us to say what a great experience they had in the surgery. Theo enjoys general dentistry and making sure that his patients get the best possible care, each and every visit. He is keen to use some of the latest technologies for procedures like crowns, bridges and dentures this improves patient experience and means that the fit is great. Outside of dentistry, Theo enjoys spending time with his fiancée and her energetic family dog.

She also has a passion for cooking, often experimenting with different cuisines in her free time.
